On the afternoon of April 18, a delegation of six led by Hu Jian, Director of International Cooperation Department of Vietnam TV (VTV), visited our Vietnam School Memorial Hall, accompanied by staff from  Guangxi TV International, to prepare for the China-Vietnam Gala and documentary co-produced by Guangxi TV .

The delegation visited the four exhibition halls on the second floor and the showroom on the first floor. The director of Vietnam School Memorial Hall educated those present on the history of the Hall, stating, "The Hall is built based on the building once used by Vietnamese students. This is a building carrying profound history and is a witness of the ever-continuing friendship between China and Vietnam." Various historical records, material objects, pictures, words and sand table models in the Hall told in detail the stories about Ho Chi Minh and former Chinese  leaders. At the last exhibition hall, the delegation also saw the souvenirs left by Vietnamese alumni as presents and photos when they studied here, in memory of the unforgettable days  contemporary Vietnamese students had at  GXNU.

After visiting the exhibition hall, the delegation had a meeting with our current Vietnamese students. The director of the Vietnam School Memorial Hall introduced in detail the origin and development of the Vietnam School and also spoke about the life enjoyed by Vietnamese students in Guilin back then. He hoped that the delegation could continue to promote the China-Vietnam friendship after they returned home. The Vietnamese delegation expressed their gratitude for the hospitality shown by GXNU, and both parties exchanged presents as tokens of friendship.
