Su Yingyong, Party Member and Assistant Minister of Vietnamese Foreign Affairs Ministry, visited GXNU with a delegation of 21 directors of Vietnamese local foreign affairs office on November 22. The delegation visited the Vietnam School Memorial Hall of GXNU and attended the China-Vietnam cultural party, accompanied by leaders of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, Guangxi Foreign Affairs Office, and President He Zubin and Vice President Su Guifa of GXNU.

When they visited the Vietnam School Memorial Hall, the person in charge narrated the stories about Vietnamese students studying and living on Yucai Campus and typical examples in details about the friendship between Chinese and Vietnamese, winning great applause of the delegation. Mr. Su Yingyong also wrote down words on the guestbook at the Vietnam School Memorial Hall.

After their visit, the delegation and the leaders accompanying them moved to the Room 215 of the International Education Exchange Center on Yucai Campus to attend the China-Vietnam cultural party. President He Zubin made a welcoming address on behalf of GXNU. He reviewed the connection of the history of the GXNU and Vietnam and hoped that the GXNU and Vietnam could further promote their cooperation and the friendship between the two countries. Later, Mr. Su Yingyong made a speech to express his gratitude to the hospitality of GXNU and hoped to further strengthen the friendly exchange and cooperation between the related sectors in Vietnam and the GXNU.

Then, the China-Vietnam cultural party started officially. The dances "Light of China" and "Girls of Yao Ethnic Group" showed the best of Chinese and Vietnamese cultures and strong ethnic features, and the friendship between Chinese and Vietnamese people. The recollection of Mr. Jia Taichang, former president of Nanxishan Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Lu Jingru, former director of personnel, about those days deeply moved and impressed the guests. Mr. Chen Qingshu, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Nghe An Province, brought the party to climax with a Chinese song "The Moon Represents My Heart."

China and Vietnam are neighbors, with frequent exchange and profound friendship since the antiquity. With a shared good wish for a better tomorrow, the delegation and the accompanying leaders came to the stage to sing hand in hand a song "Vietnam-China." In the end, the personnel from China and Vietnam took group photos in front of the International Education Exchange Center.
