GXNU Delegation Visited ASEAN Consulates-General in Nanning
From January 22 to 23, 2018, Vice President Su Guifa visited successively the ASEAN consulates general of Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar in Nanning, accompanied by personnel-in-charge from Office of International Exchange and College of International Culture and Exchange.
During their visit, the delegation had informal meeting with six consuls-general and deputy consuls-generals. Vice President Su Guifa introduced GXNU’s cooperation with these ASEAN countries in education and cultural exchange, and current conditions of the overseas students from these ASEAN countries in GXNU. They had a discussion on new cooperative programs and reached preliminary consensus. Since the Chinese New Year was drawing near, Vice President Su also extended his greetings to the staff in the consulates on behalf of GXNU.
The consuls-generals all expressed their gratitude to GXNU for its constant endeavor in talent training for their countries and caring for their students. The students from these ASEAN countries were all very satisfied with the teaching, management and service of GXNU. They were willing to have more comprehensive cooperation and exchange in education with GXNU and to assist GXNU in expanding cooperation with other countries to train more talent.
Currently, the target countries GXNU cooperates with are mainly ASEAN countries. Besides, GXNU has always been having close cooperation with the consulates-general in Nanning. This visit has further strengthened GXNU's friendship with these consulates-general and contributed to deeper exchange and cooperative relations between GXNU and these countries in education.
