Kasetsart University High School Delegation Visits GXNU for Work Exchange and International Cooperation
Between 10th April and 15th April 2018, four delegates from Kasetsart University High School, including the director of international program Pranee Potisook, paid a visit to Guangxi Normal University. The welcome ceremony for the Thai delegation was held from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. on 11th April in Conference Room 201 of the International Exchange Center at GXNU’s Yucai Campus. Members of GXNU’s Office of International Exchanges and College of International Culture and Education attended the welcome ceremony as well.
During the welcome ceremony, representatives from GXNU's Office of International Exchanges and College of International Culture and Education extended a warm welcome to the honored guests and gave them a briefing in relation to how GXNU had operated over the years, along with the history of educational exchange and international cooperation between GXNU and several esteemed Thai institutes. The head of the delegation from Kasetsart University High School, Pranee Potisook, expressed her gratitude for GXNU's warm reception and hospitality. She explained that the primary reasons behind her visit had been to learn more about the academic life of GXNU’s international students and their achievements in academic exchanges and cooperation, and to better understand the building and operation of the Confucius Institute. International student and teacher exchanges between GXNU and related academies in Thailand were also discussed. In addition, Pranee Potisook expressed her sincerest wish that there be significant progress in short-term program communication and cooperation between GXNU and Kasetsart University High School.
During the visit, the delegation visited the Vietnam Memorial Hall, the Exhibition Hall of ASEAN Education and Exchanges, the Thailand Cultural Center and the Indonesia Cultural Center at GXNU’s Yucai Campus. They also visited the University’s Yanshan and Wangcheng campuses, and attended the Opening Ceremony of GXNU’s 9th annual International Cultural Carniva
