President of Princess of Naradhiwas University Visited GXNU and Signed the Memorandum of Understanding
On June 26, 2018, Rossukon Sangmanee, the president of Princess of Naradhiwas University, led a group of 12 people visiting Guangxi Normal University (GXNU). Su Guifa (Vice President of GXNU), on behalf of GXNU, met with the distinguished guests in Room 201 of the International Education and Exchanges Center. Meanwhile, representatives of the College of Electronic Engineering, College of Health Management, College of International Culture and Education/Office of International Exchanges attended the meeting as well.
During the welcome ceremony, Su Guifa expressed his warm welcome to President Rossukon Sangmanee and other guests. Then, he introduced the history of how GXNU operates its education and student management. He also talked about the history of cooperation between GXNU and academies and universities in Thailand. Rossukon Sangmanee, then expressed her great gratitude towards GXNU's hospitality, which impressed her deeply. Princess of Naradhiwas University is a new national university which may lack some mature experience in cultivating high level talented people, operating diversified majors and international cooperation and exchanges. Therefore, Rossukon Sangmanee expressed her expectation in learning from the successful experience of GXNU and promoting Princess of Naradhiwas University's development through cooperation with GXNU.
Afterwards, both parties discussed their cooperation fields, including teacher training at master and doctoral levels, joint cultivation of international students from Thailand, teacher exchanges and scientific research. After discussion, they achieved initial intent of cooperation. During the meeting, the atmosphere was harmonious and happy, showing the cooperation ideas of "friendship, harmony, win-win situation and development". Then, both parties signed the memorandum of understanding to establish cooperation.
Princess of Naradhiwas University was founded in 2005, situated at Tao Gong Fu in southern part of Thailand. It is a national university, aiming to cultivate different talents in the southern part of Thailand, especially Tai Nan San Fu.
