Guangxi Normal University President He Zubin Gives Educational Lecture to New Faculty Members
On the morning of 11 September, the President of Guangxi Normal University (GXNU), He Zubin, gave an educational lecture on the topic of "GXNU Stories and Culture" for the university’s new faculty members.
The lecture focused on the university’s history, influential stories, and current situation. President He spoke at length about the many hardships GXNU had to endure as it grew from its initial small college status to the comprehensive university that it is today. Not only did GXNU bear witness to several crucial historical events, but it also always stayed true to its promise of cultivating outstanding talent that would one day contribute to the university’s further development. In addition, President He introduced GXNU’s main achievements in discipline construction, talent cultivation, and social service.
President He hopes that new faculty members can combine their own professional development with that of the university’s greater developmental needs, with positive attitude, critical thinking, and responsible behavior all being quintessential requirements for achieving this.
At the end of the lecture, new faculty members felt motivated and enlightened. They said that they were very proud of being a member of the GXNU family and would continue to develop their teaching methods, so they could better dedicate their efforts to meet GXNU’s educational philosophy and developmental goals as a university.
