On the afternoon of September 12, a delegation from Vietnam led by Dinh Van Thu, Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee visited the GXNU Vietnam Memorial Hall, accompanied by personnel from Guilin Municipal Office of Foreign Affairs, GXNU’s Vice President Su Guifa and leaders of GXNU’s College of International Culture and Education.
The delegation visited the four exhibition halls on the second floor and the exhibition room on the first floor successively. Su Guifa introduced the history of the Vietnam School at GXNU. The person in charge of the GXNU Vietnam Memorial Hall introduced in detail the stories behind the photos.
Dinh Van Thu said that he was deeply impressed by the memorial hall. The rare photos reminded them of their fellows in the past. The delegation expressed their appreciation to GXNU for its contribution to educating the students from Vietnam, their hope to receive GXNU’s delegation in Vietnam and to have more cooperation in the future. After the visit, Dinh Van Thu signed his name in the guest’s book and expressed his good wishes for GXNU. Finally, they exchanged gifts and took group photos in front of the memorial hall.
