Guangxi Normal University Successfully Passed the Quality Certification of Studying in China

On October 18, 2018, the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) announced the results of the third batch of pilot universities' Quality Certification of Studying in China. They also issued the certificates at the 19th China Annual Conference for International Education & Expo in Beijing. Guangxi Normal University (GXNU) has been certified as Good.
In 2015, the Ministry of Education proposed to construct the system of Quality Certification of Studying in China and issued "the Indicator System of Universality Quality Certification of Studying in China" in December of 2015. Since 2016, ninety-three pilot universities have passed the quality certification. Fifty-four of the universities are Double First-rate universities, accounting for 58%.
In December 2017, GXNU signed up to join the third batch of pilot universities and then made up a "Self-assessment Leader Group" including Mr. He Zubin (President of GXNU, group leader), Mr. Su Guifa (Vice President of GXNU, deputy group leader) and leaders from related departments and colleges. This group played roles in leading, supervising and commanding certification. After writing the self-assessment report, revising on the basis of suggestions collected, scrutinizing through the self-assessment committee, and evaluating by experts from CEAIE, GXNU passed the Quality Certification of Studying in China successfully.
The Quality Certification of Studying in China is an important part of the Educational Quality Assurance System, National Norms and Guidance for International Student Education in China in the new era. GXNU's achievement resulted from its long-term attention to International Student Education, standardized management, and emphasis on good quality and service. In future, on the basis of "Quality First", GXNU will further increase input to promote the development of International Student Education with good quality and levels.
