Recently, Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China announced the result of examining and approving the Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Programs in the first half of 2019. The Undergraduate Education Program of Visual Communication Design Major created by Guangxi Normal University (GXNU) and Hanseo University was approved by Ministry of Education. In this round, there were 30 Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Programs, which were approved, among which the Undergraduate Education Program of Visual Communication Design Major was the only one in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Benefiting from the good platform and curriculum system of “Cultural and Creative Products” and “Innovative Design of Virtual-Reality Products”, College of Design of GXNU has created “Advanced Characteristic Major in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region”. The Product Appearance Design Center of Hanseo University has been ranked No. 1 place among congeneric product appearance design centers in Korea for three consecutive years. In the year of 2007, Hanseo University was awarded as the top of Design Infrastructure Industry in Korea. Both GXNU and Hanseo University have solid foundations in running the colleges. Their talent cultivating plans give importance to the innovation that combines design and technology, building the new Visual Communication Design Major with the feature of virtual reality.
