GXNU Teachers and Students Watched the Live Celebration Ceremony, Military Parade and Civilian Procession ——"Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China"

On October 1, 2019, The Celebration Ceremony, Military Parade and Civilian Procession for Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China were held in Beijing. Guangxi Normal University (GXNU) organized teachers and students to watch the live Celebration Ceremony, Military Parade and Civilian Procession in the great hall on the third floor of the College of Music, GXNU.

Teachers and students felt an upsurge of emotion, rejoiced and applauded China for its rapid development after watching the live show.

Mr. Jing Maorong, a retired cadre of Guangxi Normal University, a 94-year-old soldier of the New Fourth Army said that today's safety and happiness was created by Chinese people who have experienced hard work and plain living. He further expressed his excitement by saying, I am already 94 years old. As a senior member of the Chinese Communist Party, I am always loyal to the Chinese Communist Party. Whenever it needs me, I will try my best to finish my mission without hesitation. Following the party wholeheartedly, I fully implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and always remember that following Chinese Communist Party is the right choice of Chinese people in Chinese history, said by Mr. Jing Maorong.

Mr. Chen Huanxin, the No. 1 outstanding secretary for Poverty Alleviation in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, who was dispatched to Huang Bao Village in Zi Yuan County to be the the First Secretary. He said, I feel encouraged and excited after watching the live Celebration Ceremony, Military Parade and Civilian Procession. I can deeply feel that China is growing stronger. As the first secretary of Huang Bao Village, I feel obligated to achieve our goal of poverty alleviation. My next step is to further improve our ability to problem-solve. Being a member of the masses, I should be the first to help and to serve people in order to promote the development of our village and to build a moderately well-off society in an all-round way.
Student Lu Wenbin, a 2018 master degree student of GXNU, said that not only do today's young people feel proud of China's achievements, but also they should learn the spirits of keeping their feet on the ground and being loyal to the country from our ancestors. What is more important, young students should study and work hard to contribute to the construction of China in their own area of expertise.

Student Jiang Yingying, a 2016 undergraduate of GXNU, said that she, as a college student, will follow the GXNU motto Respect Teachers and Seek the Truth, Devote to Work and Live in Harmony, will shoulder the responsibility given by the time and bind her destiny with people and home country.

Student Li Jun (Chinese name), a Pakistani student studying GXNU, said, As an international student in China, I feel very happy and honored to witness the great celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China with teachers and schoolmates. The Military Parade shows China's growing military power and China's prosperity and strength. China and Pakistan have been establishing diplomatic relations for many years and both of them keep good friendships. As a Pakistani student studying in China, I sincerely feel happy for China's growth and development. I would love to express my best wishes to China on her 70th birthday. I wish China to be more prosperous and to have a better future. I love you, China.
